This notice explains how 3 Worx IT and Media Solutions (Pty) Ltd ("3 Worx", "we") collects and uses personal information through hosting.3worxsolutions.com and our hosting services, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect
- Contact details you give us when you ask for a quote or become a client: name, business name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
- Account and billing details needed to provide and invoice your services, such as billing address and VAT number.
- Service data needed to run your hosting, email and domains, such as domain registrant details required by the domain registry.
- Technical logs: our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.
This website does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and it does not set cookies.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To set up, run, support and bill your services.
- To register and renew domains, as the registries require.
- To keep our systems secure and meet our legal obligations.
We process your information because you asked us to (to take steps towards or perform a contract), because the law requires it, or because of our legitimate interest in running a secure service. We only send marketing to existing clients or people who have opted in, and you can opt out at any time.
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are also processed by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy. Please don't send passwords or ID documents over WhatsApp.
Sharing and cross-border transfers
We share personal information only with service providers who help us deliver your services, such as data-centre and cloud infrastructure providers, domain registries and payment providers. Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. When that happens we make sure the transfer is allowed under section 72 of POPIA, for example because the recipient is bound by laws or agreements that give a similar level of protection, or because the transfer is necessary to perform our contract with you. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example, tax records). After that we delete or de-identify it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control and backups. If a security compromise affects your personal information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, request access to it, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing, including for direct marketing. Contact us at hosting@3worxsolutions.com. If you are not happy with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

We may update this notice from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
